Anorexia is an eating problem where people starve themselves. Anorexia generally starts in young girls but men can also have it. People battling from anorexia have excessive weight loss. Weight loss is usually fifteen percents under the person's regular body weight. Individuals suffering from anorexia look so thin but are certain that they are obese. Weight loss can be done by many unhealthy ways. Some of the popular methods used are extreme exercise, refuse to eat, and use weight loss pills.

It is not easy to detect if a person is anorexic due to the fact that anorexic people generally go to good lengths to hide their slimness, eating habits or physical issues. There are several symptoms of anorexia, some of them are skipping meals, afraid to eat, repeated weighing of themselves, complaining about being fat, Shortness of breath, Weakness, afraid of gaining weight or becoming fat, and trying to lose more weight.

It is tough to define recovery from an anorexia that contains both physical and mental problems, but it's possible to recovering from the anorexia with the right attitude and determination. The best way to do this is to look at yourself the real way. Try to boost yourself -esteem. Separate yourself from negative thoughts. This includes staying away from media that encourages weight loss or skinny bodies, such as fashion magazines or television. If you have anorexic friends or family who are not seeking treatment, stay away from them during your recovery effort.

Every anorexic person needs treatment. There are many ways to treat anorexia. Some of them include: consulting a doctor and obtaining frequent counseling sessions. Some people may require staying in the hospital if they are critically underweight or have serious medical problems. The objectives of treatment are to reestablish a healthy weight and healthy eating habits.

The exact cause of anorexia nervosa has not been fully recognized. It is thought to develop from a mix of physical, emotional, and social triggers. There may be genetic changes that make some people more vulnerable to developing anorexia. However, it's not clear specifically how your genes could cause anorexia. It may also cause from influence from society while people think the beauty is from being skinny.

Whatever the reasons you want to become anorexic, it's important to beware that it's a serious illness that is life threatening. If you are suffering from anorexic then it would be best to consult your doctor to find the best way to recover from this illness. There are many ways to lose weight and stay healthy. Anorexia is not the good solution for weight loss.
